Dr Pooja Desai, BDS
Principal Dentist, GDC No: 82517
Pooja graduated from Kings College London in 2003. She has a calm, caring approach towards each patient and a wealth of experience in treating families. She is one of Bedfordshire’s leading Invisalign providers and has a special interest in teeth straightening and composite bonding. She takes great pride in helping patients transform their image and self-esteem. Her work philosophy is to provide ideal comfort, function, and aesthetics to the highest standard for all her patients.
Dr Neil Desai, BDS
Principal Dentist, GDC No: 82805
Neil graduated from Kings College London in 2003 and has extensive experience in dentistry, with a special interest in Oral Surgery. He completed extensive further training in Implantology with Professor Hilt Tatum in 2008 to allow him to provide all the latest techniques. In addition to providing general dentistry, he particularly enjoys providing cosmetic dentistry, from simple tooth whitening to veneers. Neil is also a member of the local dental committee and a member of the British Dental Association.
His calm and reassuring nature helps achieve excellent results with patients of all ages. He continues to update his knowledge with the latest postgraduate courses in Implantology and travels the world to attend the most cutting-edge courses.
In his spare time, he enjoys reading, gardening, carpentry, travelling and spending time with family and friends.
Ann Jones
Practice Manager and Treatment Co-ordinator, GDC No: 326959
Ann joined Kings Dental in 2017 as a trainee dental and gained her level 3 diploma in Dental Nursing with Cavity Training. She has trained extensively to now become our Practice Manager and continues to strive to coordinate treatment for our Invisalign and Implant patients. Her professional, calm and affable nature means she can liaise with patients directly and ensure their dental needs are organised effectively. She loves to travel and enjoys listening to music.
Alba Kapllani
Dental Hygienist, BDS Hons, Registered under S36C of the Dentists Act, GDC No: 326959
Alba is a dedicated and passionate Dental Hygienist, prides herself on her commitment to excellence in dental health care. Qualifying from dental university in 2016, has since established herself as a skilful Dental Hygienist. Alba is passionate about all aspects of dentistry including oral hygiene promotion, patient education on periodontal disease, prevention and treatment. She is constantly developing her skills and knowledge whilst gaining Level 2 Certificate in Nutrition and Health. Outside of dentistry, she is a house plant enthusiast, enjoys gardening and cooking. Non-English speaking patients will be pleased to know that Alba also speaks fluently Greek, Albanian and understands Italian well.
Lauren White
Dental Hygienist, Degree in oral health science 2023 (FdSc), GDC No: 275527
Lauren qualified from the University of Essex in 2023 as a dental hygienist. She has worked in dentistry for 11 years, as a dental nurse before going on to do her dental hygiene training. She enjoys learning and progressing in her career by taking new courses to further enhance her skills and is passionate about patient education when it comes to oral hygiene and treatment of periodontal disease. In her spare time she enjoys walking her dog, eating out and traveling.
Jolanta Saparenko
Lead Dental nurse, GDC No: 259453
Jolanta qualified as a dental nurse in 2015 and then went on to train in dental radiography, sedation and oral surgery. Her warm and welcoming personality provides patients with ongoing reassurance enquiring a pleasant experience. Jolanta enjoys travelling with family and long walks with her dog.
Christina Masih
Dental nurse, GDC No: 246063
Christina joined Kings Dental in 2024 and gained her level three diploma in Dental Nursing from Barnfield College in 2012. Christina has been dental nursing for 14 years and has a wealth of experience in specialist dental treatment. Her bubbly and friendly nature is never gone unnoticed by patients! She loves to spend her spare time with her doting family.
Layla Luikaj
Dental nurse
Layla joined Kings Dental in 2023, and is currently training in Level 3 diploma Dental Nursing with Tempdent. She is diligent, professional and has a very sweet and kind personality - nothing is too much trouble for her patients. Layla loves fashion, hair and travel.
Sarah Semple
Dental nurse and receptionist, GDC No: 250003
Sarah joined Kings Dental in 2018 and is known well by all of our patients. She gained her level three diploma in Dental Nursing from Barnfield College in 2014 and registered with the GDC the same year.
She has a naturally friendly and caring approach to all patients and enjoys going above and beyond to make sure she delivers the best standard of care.
